We ride " The Mollie" train from Bad Doberan to the seaside resort of Kuhlungsborn where even though the temperature was in the low 60's and it was windy, the Germans were on the beach to get some rays. The coolest part of the ride was going right through Bad Doberan itself. The train stopped at traffic lights and you are 20 feet from shops on each side at times.
