Eidfjord is on the Hardevanger Fjord. The second longest fjord in Norway. It is a breathtakingly beautiful area. A good website is: Lonely Planet.

We visited the Veringsfossen Falls, but it was so misty we could not see at all-so I took a photo of a photo!
This and others are summer cottages as the whole area is usually under 15 feet of snow for nearly 8 months.
