Mediterranean Trip

Michael read both the Iliad and the Odyssey when he was a sophomore in high school and was forever hooked on the history and mythology of the Hellenistic period and Greece’s role in the eastern Mediterranean.  The nine years it took for the Greeks to conquer Troy makes a remarkable story.  More information here:  <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trojan_War#Nine_years_of_war>

The “Trojan Horse” in this pihoto was the one used in the movie Troy in 2004.  It was gifted to the site and was on display in Cannakele where the ship was docked.
