Mediterranean Trip

While the works of Antoni Gaudi were and are the highlight of our visit to Barcelona, there was one more gift to us that was so much more than expected.  Marilynn in looking for a final thing to visit came upon the Palace of Catalan Music.  Normally not easy to see, but they were holding an Open House.  We got there with about 15 minutes to go and were blown away.  They also have a wonderful website:  <https://www.palaumusica.cat/en/discover-the-palau_1159134

We went first to see the Picasso museum.  It was nice but not as good as I thought it would be.

We passed a cathedral attached to a fort on the way.

I loved this door knocker!

The street where the Picasso museum is on and where we found the way to the Palace of Music.

The first thing you see is the stage as you walk in.

The background of the stage.

Stage and organ from the balcony.

Pillars on the corners of the balcony.

Ceiling  window brings in colors as well as light.

Ornate ceiling tiles with flowers.

Stained glass windows and incredibly beautiful arches.

Close up of one of the windows.

Balcony seating.

The Catalan Flag!

Our last meal in Barcelona at the Bar Lobo near our hotel.

This ends what we both felt was a wonderful experience
