Mediterranean Trip

The Palace of Knossos near Heraklion is special in so many ways.  It came to prominence in the 20th Century B.C.!  It had hot and cold running water and sewer systems to remove waste from the palace.  The rooms were simply stunning and it actually was a 4 story palace thousands of years ago.  Here is a good source of the history of the Minoan Kingdom:  <https://www.livescience.com/27955-knossos-palace-of-the-minoans.html>
