Once the Rhine enters the Netherlands, one finds many ship yards and some goofy ship making as well as pasture lands for grazing animals. It is all very flat country.
When your ship enters the Netherlands it becomes really clear that the land is flat and that the river is almost even with the banks. It is also clear that the Netherlands is a very busy, productive place with ship repair facilities everywhere.
