Amsterdam, the final stop on a magnificent journey.  This is one of the easiest cities we have been in to get around.  Netherlanders can speak as many as six languages that are all taught in early grades here, making communication for we who do not have such schooling have a much easier time here.   For me, Amsterdam is all about the water and its controls.  The whole country is below sea level, so one should tour the city on the hop on hop off  boats!
