Sagueney

Sagueney is located on a huge fjord running inland from the St Lawrence.  Because of the abundance of water power it is a hub for aluminum production.  It also offers some of the most wilderness areas we  visited.  The zodiac ride on the fjord was pretty magical.  If you like hiking in the wilderness, this area is perfect:  <https://destination.saguenay.ca/en/>.  What is interesting about the fjord, is that the first six feet of depth is freshwater, Then a layer of brackish water, while the more dense salt water is below that.

Huge, heavy life jacket coats we had to wear.

Marilynn likes the zodiac ride.

He found rock climbers clinging to the sheer walls of the fjord.
