Edinburgh, Scotland

The photos combine my trip in the 1990’s and this trip with Marilynn.  The early trip are Black and White shots.  The reason is I am greatly impressed with the city.  The people are delightful and the city is beautiful.  What struck me so forcefully in the first visit was everything was granite: sidewalks, buildings, the castle.  The stone is really hard and durable which pretty much seems to be a Scottish hallmark for behavior throughout history.  A good website for its history:  <https://outaboutscotland.com/the-history-of-edinburgh-part-1/>.
