Craigmillar Castle

Craigmillar is several miles away from Edinburgh and is in a bucolic setting in the country.  A  beautiful location with a stunning view of the city.  Famous as the castle where Mary Queen of Scots signed a contract for the killing of her husband-which hastened her own demise.  Considered one of the best preserved castles in Scotland.  History is here: <https://castlesandlegends.com/craigmillar-castle/>.
