Scottish China and Bothwell Castle

Our last stop before heading to the airport was at a factory offering a close out sale on china.  They formerly made glassware, bowls, etc. for English royalty, but mass production was replacing hand made items and they were closing.   Sad, but you can see the wine and water glasses we got at spectacular pricing.  We then made a quick stop at Bothwell Castle on the way to Glasgow.  Bothwell castle had quite a warring history.  Here is a quick and informative history of Bothwell:  <https://www.historicenvironment.scot/visit-a-place/places/bothwell-castle/history/>.
