Vethueil, our home for the first full week of the trip. We met the owner (no photos, please) and learned we were the very last people to stay as he would no longer put this treasure up for travelers . He owned nearly a full acre of trees, gardens, and small places to simply appreciate how beautiful things are. Birds, butterflies, and bees are everywhere. We could not have found a more idyllic spot. It was simply magical and I was delighted every time we returned from our wanderings.
