I think one of the reasons Marilynn found our place in Vethueil was that I really wanted to see Claude Monet’s home in Giverny.  It was, indeed, way more than I was prepared for.  Going in October we felt most flowers would be going dim.  Not the case as you can see below.  It was an amazing garden-perhaps the best i’ve ever been to.
