Berlin’s Museum Island is totally remarkable.  Four magnificent museums all in one place.  My favorite is the Pergamon Museum.  It was originally built to house the entire Temple to Zeus that the Germans excavated in Pergamon, Turkey.  They transported it to this museum in its entirety!  It also has a treasure perhaps unequaled in museums besides the Pergamon temple as you will see below.  The Pergamon site is here:  <https://www.lonelyplanet.com/germany/berline/mitte-scheunenviertel/attractions/pergamonmuseum/a/poi-sig/1118820/1320672>
