Where the Two Armies Met

For my birthday present I enrolled Marilynn and I in the World War II National Museum tour entitled ‘Where the Two Armies Met”.  It was designed to showcase the final days of Nazi Germany when America and the Soviet Union armies converged at the city of Torgau in eastern Germany which effectively ended German resistance.  The tour was to go down the Elbe River on a beautiful long ship and to have two renowned historians who would lecture every evening and accompany the group on day trips.  The official site for all museum tours by the National Museum:  <https://www.nationalww2museum.org/events-programs/educational-travel>.

Now!  On to our arrival in Berlin and the discovery of the Berlin Wall Memorial!
