Zion National Park was one of the things I had heard so much about and now finally we will get to see it.  Get there early so you can park at the Visitor Center (FREE).  If you don’t, parking is not close and expensive.  The shuttle service buses are terrific and take you to all the spots where you can view and/or hike.

Mule Deer

Trail’s end-only waders can continue up canyon.

Bridge over river to go to some really challenging climbs.

Part way up the mountain on the climb to Emerald Pools.

Where I waited for Marilynn on the climb to “Emerald pools”.

Lower Emerald Pool.  Not much to see, though.

View up the canyon from the Visitor’s Center where we parked.
