Blanchland Medieval Town

I don’t remember why exactly we detoured to this little medieval town in the country side, but it was quite attractive.  Historically, too.  The Lord Crewe Arms Hotel has a vast fireplace where 'General' Tom Forster hid during the Jacobite rising of 1715. Window in storage shed.  I just liked this…..

Panorama of the entire town.  I’m standing in the corner of the square-like town.  The house on the far left is also the one on the far right.  Picturesque town used in many movies.
