Our stay in Santiago was truly short and quick. Marilynn and I saw much more when we returned in 2023 on the Viking cruise. The plan was to do three quick stops at Santiago, Valparaiso, and Vina del Mar before going to Cuzco, Peru. Santiago at this time had very bad air with chocking pollution.

Valparaiso and Vina del Mar: Main port of the Chilean Navy is in Valparaiso, while Vina del Mar has a beach area famous for vacationers and the wealthy.
