Paris! We arrived in the middle of the day and worked our way through town to our hotel, the Renaissance Inn near the Trocadero (<https://www.marriott.com/hotels/travel/parsp-renaissance-paris-le-parc-trocadero-hotel/>. An absolutely wonderful location, so close to the best view anywhere of the Eiffel Tower which I seem never to get enough time to wonder at it. We went over once we were unpacked, and after dinner to see it at night. As you can see from the photos, we were not alone even though it was way off the tourist season.
After dinner we returned again and I got this photo that I love.
